12/6/01 Initial meeting of Leggett’s Creek Bassmasters

Meeting was called to order by Dave Kozlansky.
8 members were in attendance.
B.A.S.S Federation intro letters, benefits and insurance were gone over.
Bylaws were gone over and voted on.
Assigning of offices were decided.
Tournament director chose his committee.
Tournament rules were gone over and voted on.
Tournament sites and amount of tournaments were voted on.
Potential expenses and fundraisers were discussed.
First meeting of the new year has not been decided.

1/24/02 First meeting of new year

Meeting called to order by Dave Kozlansky.
10 members were in attendance.
Bylaws, rosters, projected tournament schedules, tournament rules, points chart & payout chart were handed out and discussed.
Decided on 4 man minimum for tournament to count for points.
Prefishing before tournaments will be allowed.
Need to decide on a ratio of owner/riders.
Need to check on big bass fish limit regulations.
Must weigh in a fish in order to get “place” points (5 points will be minimum if you fish & do not weigh in)
Second meeting set for 2/28/02.
Amended (4 man minimum for points tournament, prefishing allowed, exemption of owner in 3 person per boat situation)
Limit of 4 15” bass per angler on Big Bass lakes was correct.
Must sign weigh-in sheet to show approval of recorded weight.

Announced which tournaments permits were approved.
Discussed club finances.
Displayed club scale & weigh-in basket.
Clarified big bass lake fish limit (4 per angler).
Will not set owner/rider ratio for this year.
Next meeting set for 3/28/02.

Meeting called to order by Dave Kozlansky.
State money collected.
Discussed possible summer fundraiser.
Discussed club finances.
Need to find more info on youth project.
District 7 project of putting cribs in Lacka. St. Park.
Voted new member (Rob Polishan) into club.
If there are not 3 places weighed in at tournament the money for those places goes into the club’s finances.
Took preliminary count for Ontario tournament.
