Conservation Report: FRED LEWIS
-Fred would like to inquire if the state does any follow up studies on lakes that have crib projects on them.
-Discusses if we do want to continue crib projects on Prompton Dam, another lake, or do we start a stocking program? Members need to think about this and give feedback in the next few meetings as it does take about a year to put something in place.
-Fred does want to continue running the pickerel events for next year with the elimination of White Oaks and keep Lake Henry and Harvey’s Lake at this point.
-Fred spoke about a possible new weigh-in basket type system to help with our weigh-ins.
-Fred stressed the importance of trying to keep our fish alive as we have more of a mortality rate this year than last year thus far. He has the formula for the live wells for anybody that requests it before the tournaments and also suggests using ice.
-Dave Kozlansky read an article from a recent FLW magazine about Tennessee implementing a Bass Stamp to help fund conservation efforts for bass habitat.
Accepted by: Jason Kiss Marco Troiani

-The Keuka pairings will be on August 2nd @ 7:00 @ Smiler’s. Randy Troiani Sr. will be running the event in Fred Lewis’ absence.

-The 4-Man District VII classic location was decided on and it will be on Lake Wallenpaupack on September 23rd.
-Fred Lewis made a motion to take $100 out of the excess conservation fund to send a “B” team to this event. This was 2nd by Rocky Confletti. All were in favor and it is so if the club can put together another team. Dave Kozlansky will be contacting the rest of the members in an attempt to assemble a “B” team for this event.
-Dave Kozlansky will try to attend the August 12th State Meeting and asked the club to provide a reimbursement for gas money spent if he attends.
